My journey with fly fishing began in my youth, casting lines into the expansive rivers systems and lakes of Colorado. Growing up surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Rocky Mountains, I developed a deep appreciation for nature and the art of angling. Over the years, what started as a hobby became a lifelong pursuit leading me to explore fisheries across the country and refine my skills in a variety of waters. From the trout streams of the Rockies, glacial feed rivers of Patagonia, Maze of Mangroves in the Florida everglades, to the expansive saltwater flats of the Louisiana marsh. These experiences have broadened my expertise and deepened my respect for the diverse fisheries around the globe.
As a seasoned guide, I’ve spent countless days honing techniques and learning the intricacies of each ecosystem I guide in. In the Greater Yellowstone area, I’ve gained deep knowledge of the rivers, hatch cycles, and techniques that make these waters legendary. In the Louisiana marsh, I’ve embraced the unique challenges of pursuing redfish in a dynamic environment, using careful observation and expertise to create success in a variety of conditions.
The health and future of fisheries rely on intact environments. Protecting and preserving these ecosystems is not just a responsibility but a fundamental part of ensuring that future generations can experience the same joys of fly fishing that we cherish today. We strive to promote sustainable practices in every aspect of our work.
